Civilisation means opportunity. As the city prospers, it grows. And so do the needs of the people until the city can no longer support them. Urban sprawl and national disaster send people scurrying to the hills for safety. Forgotten, sleepy towns are rediscovered, reinhabited and renewed.

I am a tattoo artist by profession but as a visual artist, my eyes are always searching for colors, shapes and emotions. I made a vow to carry my camera with me at all times. (There have been too many instances where my eyes were my only camera. I only wish I could share those visual memories.)

Now, I find hidden faces and light dances in many of my snaps. While I no longer live in or adjacent to the Big City, there is still plenty of photo opportunity to find images in the small towns and backroads near my home.

My travels with tattooing have put me in some beautiful places. Urban photos? Urban describes my upbringing, my heart, that is with me where ever I go. I wish to share these images with you.
